February
This seems like so long ago, but it actually did snow at the beginning of February. So much has happened since then. I hate to put it all in one post, but I think that is the only way it's going to get posted. We're a little busy around here. :)
Emma and our neighbor Brennan had fun playing in the snow. They threw snowballs and made snow angels. (More like grass angels.)
We celebrated early this year for Jacob's birthday. We didn't know when the baby might come. He had a blast and was so excited to have some friends over for his party. He is very into Star Wars right now. (Daddy's fault) Jacob is such a sweet boy. He loves to play xbox, read books, and play with his friends. He hasn't really shown any interest in tball or soccer this year, so I think we are going to try piano lessons soon. I can't believe he is 6 years old. He absolutely loves his new baby sister Sarah. She gets many kisses and hugs from him as soon as he gets home from school. He will sit and hold her for 15 minutes and not want to let her go. He is also very protective of her. When I picked him up from school, he told his friend to not touch her because we have to wash our hands first.
The first time they met their new sister, Sarah. Unfortunately, we were all sick, so they didn't get to hold her at the hospital. Jacob and Emma were very happy to meet her though.
Home at last. They couldn't wait to get their little germy hands all over her. (She never got sick though.)
Celebrating Jacob's real birthday...the day after we got home from the hospital. Their birthdays will be 3 days apart.
We were so blessed to have Mimi stay and help for a week. I don't know how we would have done it without her. Thanks Mimi!! (Sorry you had to get our sickness though.)
Sisters...what a blessing. I can't wait to watch them grow up together. I can only pray they will have a friendship like me and my sister have. :) Love you Bec!
We were also lucky to have Caki come and stay a week. Thanks Caki for everything!
Nana and Papa came to visit. These are 5 of their 8 great-grandchildren. Can't wait to get a picture of them all!
Sweet Sarah Catherine. We just love her so much...so thankful she is here and healthy.

It IS so wonderful that our girls both have sisters and I do pray they are as close to their sisters as we are to eachother. It is also soooo awesome that our girls have cousins their same age. God is so great! Glad you have time to update your blog. You must be getting bored with 3 children around. :)
love,
becca
Congratulations on the birth of little miss Sarah Catherine. She is just precious. Your family is beautiful!! I loved reading about Jacob. Marcie's son Cade who is about the same age has a lot of the same interests (Star Wars, especially)! He also has his dad to thank for that :-) Funny!
Welcome home little Sarah! We're so happy for all of you. A large loving family is such a gift.
