1st Grade

Today is the 1st day of school. Jacob said he was kind of ready. (His alarm went off at 7 and he was in our room dressed and ready to go a few minutes later. That won't last long! We were still in bed trying to wake up. Sarah has been waking a 5 to eat lately. Grrrr.)

He was worried about how he would know what to do. He also said he knew what to do in kindergarten, but not 1st grade. I reminded him that's what the teacher is for...that she would help him and tell him what to do. As usual, Emma had to sneak a picture in too. :)






Doesn't it look like he is saying, "OK Mom. You can leave now." But, no, he actually wanted me to stay longer. Sweet boy. In a few years he'll probably be shoving me out the door. :(
