Recent Ramblings

OK- So, I never remember to "write things down" like my mom has always told me to do. So, I am going to start writing things down here when I get a chance.

Yesterday, we were walking out of a restaurant and Emma saw a lady with scrubs on. (She had very short hair)
"Mom, I thought that was a boy! But, it's a girl." (very loudly says it again too) She is very observant of the way people look.

One day we were eating lunch out and she notices our waiter has a ponytail. "Look, that boy has a ponytail! That's funny! Boys aren't supposed to have ponytails!"

One day we were reading her bible verse from school. Emma asks very seriously, "Mom, did Jesus have a pen?" :)

Kids say the darndest things! Yesterday at Disney World, this lady sat behind us on the train and Lexi could NOT STOP staring at her. She was completely turned around, whole body, just staring. Finally I turned to look to see what she was enthralled by and this lady had body piercings like all over her. She had them in her nose, her lips, up and down her ears, HER CHEST! Finally Cary spoke up and said, "I think she's looking at all your piercings." And the lady was cool with it. She said, "I figured that."

Did we embarrass our moms like that? I'm sure we didn't!
