We had a wonderful visit with family in Pearland. I think the grandparents got their fix...not sure if it has worn off yet. I will ship them down there if needed. (I know it might do me some good. :)
The kids had a surprise in Mimi and Papa's backyard: a swingset! I remember swinging on this swingset as a child. It was really weird to see it set up in their backyard. The kids loved it and I am sure that it has many more swings left in it after all those years put up in the garage.
We also had a great time getting one last swim in at Caki and Pawpaw's. Jessie took her first plunge...didn't take much time for her to get the hang of it. Sure did wear her out though! Jacob and Emma always have a blast with Jace and Cade...they are down below in a picture. Wish we could see them more often!
Well, we went from shorts, swimming and sweating to chilly, jeans, and hot chocolate. Jacob was so excited last week when it got cold. He immediately wanted to wear his space shuttle long sleeve shirt and drink hot chocolate...so that's just what we did.
I love this time of year.
