Family Round-Up

Last night we went to the Family Round-Up at our church. (Some members have a 50 acre ranch just north of us in Melissa, Tx.) They served a camp-style dinner last night and had worship time. Then, there was a big bonfire that we were supposed to roast marshmallows on...you would have had an 18 ft. pole to accomplish that. This morning they had another worship time followed by some games for the kids. By that time we were pooped and ready to get all the sand out from in-between our toes. So, we headed home. I told David that the next time we go camping we need softer beds and electric blankets. We were cold!! It was nice though, to meet some new people.

Jacob's favorite thing was the hay-rides and playing with sticks. Emma's was the horses. I think that she would have stood there all day petting them...not afraid at all.
