Spring Break 2006

Spring Break was nice and warm in Houston. We went to the livestock show and saw lots of animals. That night Emma was naming them all and came to the reindeer...thoughtfully, she said, "What? That's silly! A reindeer doesn't belong on a farm!" Her favorite was the pig that threw a fit. (Maybe because this is something that she can relate to?) The pig was squealing and not moving down the aisle for its' owner. All Jacob wanted to do was go to the carnival. Mimi was the lucky one on this ride. Emma requested the tea cup ride.
Jacob and Emma both enjoyed roping the "calf." They also got to watch a cow being milked. Apparently, it made an impression on Emma...she is still talking about it!

Tinkerbell Emma in Mimi's backyard. Emma and I went home to daddy on Friday...

...But big boy Jacob got to stay through the weekend. He spent one night with Caki and Pawpaw too. He had a blast and even got to ride home with Uncle B on Sunday.
