Well, at least for today anyway. You never know here in north TX. While Daddy and Pawpaw were taking a motorcycle safety course today...(Oh - by the way- this is his new love.)
...Mommy, Jacob, and Emma went to the Dallas arboretum to enjoy the pretty day. "This is a great day to lay in the grass, mom." Jacob decided to take advantage of the cool, green grass.
Emma tried to play pick-up sticks after our picnic.
It actually turned out to be quite an educational trip. We saw bees eating pollen, a bird next to its' nest, a ladybug crawling on the blanket, and learned the names of different flowers. Jacob had fun reading the names of the trees and flowers.
The tulips and azaleas were starting to bloom. Next weekend would actually be a perfect time to go. "Dallas Blooms" starts then.

I wish I could have gone! Going to look at flowers in the springtime is one of my favorite things to do. But that pales in comparison to being with my grandchildren!! Maybe in April!
Love you all tons,
Mimi
