Christmas Fun

The past couple of days have been filled with Christmas fun. We went to some good friends' home and had dinner. The kids loved their dessert-marshmallows dipped in chocolate with sprinkles!! Yummy!Then, you will never believe who showed up- it was Santa himself!! Santa showed them his scrapbook with pictures of the North Pole. Jacob and Emma had a lot of questions! They also got to sit on his lap and tell him what they want. Emma wants a Barbie and Jacob wants a Bobo Fett Transformer. :)

A few nights ago, we also got to go to the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine. Wow - it's beautiful at Christmas. My dear friend, Heather, and her family are moving away from Texas. :( So, we had to go and say goodbye. Jacob was quite attached to her daughter...maybe it's that blonde hair! She didn't look real thrilled.




They also had Santa there. Emma didn't really want to sit in his lap. Mrs. Claus was there too...with real reindeer!! What a fun evening.
