Jacob got his 1st award today at their monthly "Colt Round-up." (pep rally/awards) One child from each grade gets this honor. He was very proud and excited. He said, "Mom, I am going to be the
musican of the month!" I corrected his pronunciation and he didn't say
musican again. :) Jacob likes to play the piano at home. He can play twinkle, twinkle and we're working on Jingle Bells.
They also had their class party today. Whew- I was worn out after all that fun!
We had our piano tuned recently...just in time for Christmas! Thanks Mimi!! Jacob and Emma both thought that the inside of the piano was pretty cool. We also found out that our piano was made in 1918. I didn't realize it was that old...thanks also to Lucy who so graciously gave it to us several years ago. What a blessing!
