A Child's Mind

The greatest thing about a child's mind is that a lot of the time they actually say what is going on in there...

Yesterday as we were walking back to the car after church the wind was really blowing. Emma said with a big smile on her face, "Mommy, I just love it when the wind blows my hair like this." She was shaking her hair like a supermodel. Then as we got in the car and I was coughing, " Mommy, I think you need the purple pill. (I guess she saw the commercial for Nexium.) It will help your cough. It's like magic. Carson also needs it. That would make his tummy all better." Carson is a little boy in her class that actually hasn't been able to come to school because he has cancer. We've been praying for him every night. Oh, how I wish that there was a magic pill for him.

Then, when we got home we were watching A Guinness World Record Show. There was some really skinny, flexible guy fitting himself in a box. Jacob said, "Mom, when you lose all your weight, maybe you will be able to do that." Thanks honey. :)

Later there was something about the lady that had 7 kids(septuplets). Emma said, "Good Lord." I agree with ya on that one Emma.
